This week we interviewed Jake Markham, a Sales Specialist within the Fitness Industry, about his recent experience of the Level 2 Award in Digital Marketing.

Hello Jake, could you tell our readers a bit about yourself
My name is Jake. When I was studying with Dagile, I worked for a leading fitness company as a Sales Expert.
You are clearly already very successful. Why did you feel the need to study a leadership course with Dagile?
I wanted to broaden my knowledge of marketing as I have always enjoyed looking at different launches and campaigns. Due to this interest, I wanted to understand the different aspects of marketing and to see what parts I liked the most, which I understood the most and which parts I could use some tweaking in my mind. This would then help me to understand and implement them in my current and future roles.
I also wanted something that I would find engaging, fun and would push me out of my comfort zone and that wasn’t just another course where you learnt just what was written on a screen and this course did just that.
What made you chose Dagile as a training provider?
I found Dagile through the Reed Course website and then read about the courses and from what I read I was impressed.
How did youfind the course and it’s teaching?
The teaching was exceptional! I have had the pleasure of working with Thomas as my tutor on the course and I was concerned I wouldn’t learn from watching lessons on a screen, but Thomas made his classes engaging and enjoyable and it was as if he was there with me.
I started with the Introduction to Marketing Unit and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to upgrade to the entire Digital Marketing Award. It was easy to get to, easy to get through as well as being engaging, informative, and well structured. I couldn’t have asked for a better tutor, and I would strongly recommend this course.
Did the training help you develop new ideas for your company and have you had a chance to implement them?
This training gave me ideas for my company and different ways that those ideas can be implemented. It’s great to think of different ways to launch different products and services and how they would work in different areas.
It is also good to see the sides that maybe wouldn’t be as beneficial and that was also an important part of what I gained from doing this course with Dagile.
Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to share these ideas or have them implemented but there is a lot to consider and think about in the future and where this can take future products.
Do you think the training will enhance your career prospects?
I have yet to see any career progression as it has only just happened, so I will have to let you know in due course what happens next for me and where I go from here, but I don’t see why this couldn’t happen.
